NAME George Collinson Watson

Sapper 388757 Royal Engineers 4th Siege Company (Royal Monmouth) 

He was the son of Henry and Elizabeth Watson of Newbiggin, Middleston-in Teasdale, Durham and husband of Ellen Grace  Watson owho is shown as living in  Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. They had a son Douglas Garland Watson who is recorded as being baptised at Carnforth Methodist Church on 16 November 1915 and had been born the previous month.

The night the 1901 census was taken it showed George staying with his grandparents 

The Lancashire electoral role shows for 1914-1916 he was living at 5 North Road, Carnforth Lancaster.
