Lance Bombardier 1073904 6th Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment Royal Artillery 3 Battery.  Ther appears to be a typographic error, as in some publications he is shown as being aged 39.  

He was the son of John and Ada Mary Jenkinson born on the 22nd December 1910 in Carnforth, Lancashire. The 1911 census shows him living at
10 Ramsden Street with his two older brothers John Jenkinson Junior (4 years old) and Leonard Jenkinson (2 years old).  His father John was a railway guard.
His brother John died in 1915.  Two sisters were born Margaret in 1921 and Norah in 1923.

He was married to Mary Agnes nee Wilson in 1938 and, they lived at 9 Highfield Terrace, Carnforth with their son Keith. 

He was killed in action fighting against the Japanese. The records show that he was ambushed at Gap Ridge and was bayonetted.  This was the Battle of Pasir Panjang which happened between 13 and 15 February 1942, it was part of the final stages of the Emperor of Japan's invasion of Singapore. 

The 6th Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment surrended in Java in March 1942.
