NAME Walter HALES

Aircraftman 2nd Class 265465 husband of Jane Hales and father of Frances, Ethel, Merion and Dorothy.
Walter was born 14 September 1876, the RAF papers shows his service date as 5 July 1918.
The 1911 census shows that he was living in King Street, Carnforth with his wife Jane Elizabeth (35) and their children Frances (9) and Marion (5). His occupation was a traveller and he was born in Newcastle, Staffordshire.
He is buried along with his son Walter Dockray Hales who died 22 July 1903 aged 3 days, his parents were living at King Street, Carnforth.
